Letter To ASUU and Nigeria Federal goverment

Letter to ASUU and the Federal GovernmentHappy October, do we regret or rejoice over our independence? It is a shame for an old woman to behave like a toddler. By the year 2050 we must have attained a stable economy’ they say. How can this be done when corruption, mismanagement, and institutionalizing democracy still prevails?

Nevertheless, cursed are the fateful days of the ongoing faceless ASUU strike. A nation like Nigeria ought to have outgrown such predicament. Funny enough, the children to the cream of the society are outside studying under an enabling environment. How is it like being a graduate?

Please remember that some students are beside the closed door of academics. Do not cast a shadow on the happiness of the masses.

Absent on duty yet money flows into the lecturers’ debating bank account. Please do not lay a hasty judgment remember an impecunious student’s allowance is strictly to academic period.

Bless development; lure no desperate students into the ruthless streets. Chalk and Cheese, why cannot there be unity between ASUU and the Federal government?

Everybody calms right, nobody admits wrong. Politicians say political terms open to the masses understanding. Kill greed; remember that students learnt their rights.

For peace to reign, students are willing to kneel under the clog. These are your children, if not by gene; they are fellow compatriots’ leaders of tomorrow. Yesterday must always come, teach them good leadership by setting good examples.

Furthermore, these three months left is the only remedy, avoid the titanic ice. Do not let the curtains close right in front of the final year students and the coming intakes that are proud of their JAMB results. Frustration must definitely lead to a real national strike, this time it shall affect all fellow compatriots, students irrespective of family and university location, politicians and civilians, private and public enterprises.

Arise o compatriots… Nigeria’s call obey… Mr. President the student will always believe in your administration please dry their tears.

Thanks
